What is my.veridian?

my.veridian is a customer portal that allows users to:

  • Track their time-of-use consumption weekly, monthly or by billing period
  • Sign up for email alerts when they’ve exceeded their chosen electricity consumption thresholds
  • Access and export a number of reports
  • Apply weather and other overlays to charts
  • Sign up for Veridian’s Electronic Bill Presentment (eBill) and Pre-authorized Payment plans
  • Gain access to account details such as balance history
  • Link accounts and add additional users
  • Access a library of articles
How do I sign up for my.veridian?

Sign up is easy and only takes a few minutes. Have a copy of your latest Veridian bill handy. Click on ‘Sign Up’ on the my.veridian panel. Enter the required information and click on ‘Register’.

Note: You must finalize your registration by clicking on the link that will be sent to the email address you registered with. If you don’t see an email in your Inbox, check your Junk Mail folder. 

I enrolled in my.veridian, but did not receive an email with the activation link

If an email with subject line ‘my.veridian Account Activation’ is not in your Inbox, and you’re certain you entered your email address correctly, please check your Junk Mail folder.

I’m already enrolled in eBill, why should I sign up for my.veridian?

We apologize for any inconvenience, but to access eBill a new sign up is required. The eBill program has been merged into my.veridian, along with access to time-of-use data, Veridian’s pre-authorized payment plans, access to account information and a library of interesting articles. Sign up with your current username to preserve your enrollment, any linked accounts and bank data setup.

If maintaining your previous profile is not important to you or you don’t know your username, you can choose to Register with a new username and password. Once you’ve logged into my.veridian, click on the ‘eBill’ tab then click on ‘Subscribe’. It’s that easy!

Once logged into my.veridian, click on the ‘eBill’ tab then ‘View Bill’. It’s here where you can see 24 months of bills (where available) and set up bank information – if desired – to make payments or set up recurring payments.

I’m already an eCare subscriber, why should I sign up for my.veridian?

We apologize for any inconvenience, but to access eCare a new sign up is required. An enhanced eCare program has been merged into my.veridian, along with the option for electronic bill presentment (eBill), signup for Veridian’s pre-authorized payment plans, access to account information and a library of interesting articles.

What are the username requirements?

Your username should be something easy for you to remember, but difficult for anyone else to guess. A new username cannot contain spaces.

What are the password requirements?

You will need to select a password with at least six regular characters, one number and one special character. Examples of special characters are: ! @ # $ % & * ? /

Why do I need to use letters, numbers and special characters in my password?

For better security, it’s required that you use letters, numbers and special characters. It should not be a combination that is easy to guess such as a spouse’s name or date of birth.

I forgot my username, what should I do?

Please use the ‘Forgot Username’ link on the Login Page.

Can I change my account information in my.veridian?

You can update your email address, password and security question. Any changes to name, mailing address or phone number will still need to be done by contacting our Customer Care Department, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., at 905-420-8440 or by email at billingenquiries@veridian.on.ca. Note: Email is monitored from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday only.

How do I make a one-time payment?

Click on ‘EZ –Pay’ at the bottom of the Login Page to access the One-Time Payment screen. There is also a link in my.veridian that will take you to EZ-Pay.

How do I allow access to more than one person to view the bill?

Once logged into the portal, you can set up additional ‘Users’. Under ‘My Account’, near the bottom of the page, you will see the ability to ‘Add User’. You will need to assign a username and password to each user, along with their unique email address and provide it to them. If there is a need to delete a user in the future, you have that ability.

Can I sign up for pre-authorized payments in my.veridian?

Yes, Veridian offers two convenient pre-authorized payment plans. Sign up is quick and easy. Details can be found under the ‘My Account’ icon.

A separate payment option is available in eBill, where you can set up your bank account information and make one-time payments, or set up recurring payments. This is not part of Veridian’s pre-authorized plans.

I have more than one account. How can I view their account information?

Once you’ve signed up with one account, choose the ‘My Account’ icon in the upper right hand corner. Halfway down the page there is an option to ‘Link Accounts/Locations’. More information on linking accounts is in Frequently Asked Questions section in the my.veridian library. Can I log into my.veridian on my tablet or phone?

Currently my.veridian is a desktop application and is not web optimized for mobile devices. Some information may not display clearly or in its entirety. However, eBill does have a web optimized view, when clicking on View Bill under the eBill tab.
