my.elexicon FAQs

What is my.elexicon?

Veridian Connections Inc. and Whitby Hydro Electric Corporation merged on April 1, 2019 to form Elexicon Energy. New or former Whitby customers should log into or sign up for their version of the portal here.

This is a customer portal for new or former Veridian customers that allow users to:

  • Track their time-of-use consumption weekly, monthly or by billing period
  • Sign up for email alerts when they’ve exceeded their chosen electricity consumption thresholds
  • Gain access to account details such as balance history
  • Access and export a number of reports
  • Apply weather and other overlays to charts
  • Sign up for outage notifications
  • Sign up for Electronic Bill Presentment (eBill)
  • Sign up for a pre-authorized payment plan
  • Link accounts and add additional users
  • Access a library of articles
  • Schedule a move order
How do I know if I'm a former Veridian Connections customer or former Whitby Hydro customer?

If you reside in one of the following communities listed below, you are an Elexicon Energy | Veridian customer:

  • The cities of Belleville and Pickering, the towns of Ajax and Gravenhurst, the Municipality of Port Hope, and the communities of Beaverton, Bowmanville, Cannington, Newcastle, Orono, Port Perry, Sunderland and Uxbridge.

If you reside in the Town of Whitby, you are an Elexicon Energy | Whitby Hydro customer and should login or sign-up for your portal here.

How do I sign up for my.elexicon?

Sign up is easy and only takes a few minutes. Have a copy of your latest Elexicon Energy (or Veridian Connections) bill handy.

  • Click on ‘Sign Up’ on the my.elexicon panel
  • Enter the required information and click on ‘Register’

Note: You must finalize your registration by clicking on the link that will be sent to the email address you registered with. If you don’t see an email in your Inbox, check your Junk Mail folder.

I enrolled in my.elexicon but did not receive an email with the activation link

If an email with the Subject line ‘my.elexicon Account Activation’ is not in your Inbox, and you’re certain you entered your email address correctly, please check your Junk Mail folder. Please add elexiconenergy.com to your Safe Senders list.

What are the Username requirements?

Your Username should be something easy for you to remember, but difficult for anyone else to guess. A Username cannot contain spaces.

What are the Password requirements?

You will need to select a Password with at least six (6) regular characters, one number and one special character. Examples of special characters are: ! @ # $ % & * ? /

Why do I need to use letters, numbers and special characters in my Password?

For better security, it’s required that you use letters, numbers and special characters. It should not be a combination that is easy to guess such as a spouse’s name or date of birth.

I forgot my Username, what should I do?

Please use the ‘Forgot Username’ link on the Login Page. It’s important to note that you only enter the main digits of your account number here. Do not enter the leading zeros, the dash or the following two digits. (Example: 00005678-21 would only enter 5678)

I forgot my Password, what should I do?

Please use the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the Login Page. It’s important to note that you only enter the main digits of your account number here. Do not enter the leading zeros, the dash or the following two digits. (Example: 00005678-21 would only enter 5678)

Can I change my account information in my.elexicon?

You can update your email address, password and security question. Any changes to name, mailing address or phone number will still need to be done by contacting our Customer Care Department, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., at 905-420-8440 or by email at customercare@elexiconenergy.com

How do I make a one-time payment?

Click on ‘EZ-Pay’ at the bottom of the Login Page to access the One-Time Payment screen. There is also a link in my.elexicon that will take you to EZ-Pay.

How do I allow access to more than one person to view the bill?

Once logged into my.elexicon, you can set up additional ‘Users’ by following these two steps:

  1. Click on the ‘My Account’ icon near the bottom of the page
  2. Under ‘Account Users’, click on ‘Add User’
    Note: You will need to assign a Username and Password to each user, along with their unique email address and provide it to them.

If there is a need to delete a user in the future, choose the user, then click on ‘Delete User’.

Can I sign up for pre-authorized payments in my.elexicon?

Yes. Elexicon Energy offers two convenient pre-authorized payment plans. Sign up is quick and easy. Details can be found under the ‘Billing’ tab.

A separate payment option is available in eBill, where you can set up your bank account information and make one-time payments, or set up recurring payments. This is not part of Elexicon Energy’s pre-authorized plans.

How do I sign up for electronic bill presentment (eBill)?

Once logged into my.elexicon, click on the eBill tab then on ‘Subscribe‘. Confirm your understanding that you will not receive paper bills and you’re done!

You will receive a confirmation email to the address you entered when signing up to my.elexicon, confirming your enrollment. You will also receive an email when your bill is ready for viewing online. Contained in the email will be a link that will take you to the my.elexicon Login page where you can view your bill by clicking on ‘View Bill’ under the eBill tab.

I have more than one account. How can I view their account information?

Once you’ve signed up with one account, choose the ‘My Account’ icon in the upper right hand corner. Halfway down the page there is an option to ‘Link Accounts/Locations’. More information on linking accounts is in Frequently Asked Questions section in the my.elexicon library.

Can I log into my.elexicon on my tablet or phone?

Currently my.elexicon is a desktop application and is not web optimized for mobile devices. Some information may not display clearly or in its entirety. However, eBill does have a web optimized view, when clicking on ‘View Bill’ under the eBill tab.
