SCHEDULED POWER OUTAGE

In order to bring the new Laidlaw Street Substation online, Veridian Connections has scheduled work that requires a power outage to the entire community.

The power outage will occur on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 7 to 8:30 a.m. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, the work will be postponed until the same time one week later, on Sunday, February 26.

As part of the disconnection of the old Cannington Substation adjacent to Town Hall, a second power outage will occur later on a date yet to be determined. Affected residents will be notified through newspaper notices and hand delivered notices.
