Change Your Lights
Veridian Connections, in cooperation with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), would like to encourage small businesses to use energy efficient measures in their facilities. By participating in the Power Savings Blitz, your company could be eligible for up to $1,000 in FREE* lighting and electric water heater retrofits.
Save Money and Energy
Besides receiving free products and installation up to $1,000, your business could also save money over the long term through the improved energy efficiency of new lighting systems and other applicable measures.

The energy saved by installing more efficient lighting systems not only saves you money, it also helps the environment by reducing air pollution and conserving non-renewable resources used in power production.
Who’s Eligible?
- This program is entirely voluntary.
- Businesses with average monthly demand of less than 50kw.

How the program works:
Step 1 - ASSESS YOUR BUSINESS – We will conduct a quick and simple lighting audit and provide a list of recommended upgrades to help your business become more energy efficient.
Step 2 – IDENTIFY ELECTRICITY SAVING OPPORTUNITIES – Pinpoint where and how your business can become more energy-efficient, mainly through upgrades in lighting and other simple retrofits.
Step 3 – REVIEW YOUR OPTIONS – You can then review the recommendations provided and decide if you would like to have a retrofit completed. Funding up to $1,000 (including materials and labour) is provided
Step 4 – INSTALL AND UPGRADE - a licensed electricity contractor will install your FREE* upgrades with your approval and at your convenience.
Note: Our representative may suggest additional energy-efficient upgrades not covered by the Power Savings Blitz program to help save even more. You are welcome to purchase these additional measures and have them installed for you by our authorized electrical contractor. Remember, this is your option only, and not a requirement for participating in this program.
