Veridian receives Readers’ Choice Award
Utility voted best Energy Service Provider in Durham Region
Ajax, ON – Veridian Connections Inc. (Veridian) has received a Readers’ Choice Award for being voted the number one Energy Service Provider in Durham Region. The annual Readers’ Choice Award competition is sponsored by Durham Business Times. Award recipients are chosen by owners, managers and key decision makers in Durham’s business community through an online vote.
“I would like to congratulate and applaud the entire Veridian family for being recognized as a leading energy service provider in Durham Region,” said Veridian’s Chair Doug Dickerson. “The company has a long-standing commitment to providing excellent customer service, delivering safe and reliable electricity, and making the communities that we serve a better place to live, work and play.”
“Durham’s business community has made it known that Veridian is providing its business customers with an affordable, safe and reliable electricity distribution system along with outstanding customer service,” explains Veridian’s President and CEO Michael Angemeer. “Our business customers are also benefiting from the innovative saveONenergy conservation programs that can help the smallest of retail stores to the largest of industrial complexes conserve energy and manage their electricity costs.”
Funded by the Ontario Power Authority and offered by Veridian, the saveONenergy FOR BUSINESSOM programs can help fund energy audits, replace energy-wasting equipment and provide incentives for controlling and reducing electricity demand at specific times.
