Electric vehicles will soon hit Durham streets
Is Durham Region ready for the electric vehicle? Ajax News Advertiser Reporter Reka Szekely asks this question to industry representatives including Veridian President and CEO Michael Angemeer, who drove Canada's first plug-in hybrid solar electric vehicle. The car has since been donated to the University of Ontario Institute of Technology's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to continue their research and development of electric vehicles, renewable energy and smart grid technologies.
