How can I sign up for service?

Am I required to pay a Deposit?

In most cases, business customers are required to pay a service deposit. Deposits are held as security to guarantee payment of future charges. The amount of the deposit is individually calculated.

Where are there drop boxes to pay my bill?

Is my Company eligible for the Equal Payment Plan for electricity?

Customers consuming less than 250,000 kWh (monthly) are eligible for the Equal Billing Plan.

If your business does not qualify for this plan, you may sign up for our  Pre-authorized Variable Plan. Under this plan your bill amount is withdrawn from your account on the due date of the bill, saving you chequing and postage costs.



Does my company qualify for the Ontario Energy Board's Regulated Price Plan for electricity?

Certain designated customers such as municipalities, hospitals, universities and farmers, as well as all low volume customers consuming less than 250,000 kWhs per year, are eligible for the Regulated Price Plan. Under this plan, customers are provided with stable and predictable electricity prices as established from time-to-time by the Ontario Energy Board.

Customers who are not specially designated, who use more than 250,000 kWhs per year, and who are not under contract with a licensed electricity retailer, all pay wholesale market prices for electricity.
