New Residential Development
New Residential Development
Property owners and land developers planning to sever or
subdivide their lands to create new serviced building lots are
required to enter into a servicing arrangement with
VERIDIAN to ensure that the
new lots have suitable and adequate power available to
them.
Many municipalities will advise us of development proposals
early in their own planning and approval processes. However,
developers are urged to contact us
as early as possible to ensure adequate lead times for
design, material purchases, and contracting services.
With extensive engineering, construction and project management expertise, our
staff can capably coordinate all your electrical servicing needs, whether you are
developing a single lot or a tract of hundreds of new homes.
All applicants for site servicing are provided with a clearly defined ‘Offer to
Service’ that sets out responsibilities, requirements, and costs for both parties.
More details are available in our
Conditions of Service, Section 2.1.2.
